The Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia is the accreditation authority responsible for accrediting education providers and programs of study for the chiropractic profession.
An online search is available for all approved programs of study on the AHPRA website.

Programs of study classified as 'inactive' are not included in this list. An online search is available for inactive programs of study, for programs that are no longer delivered by an education provider or no longer approved by the National Board.
Besides holding an approved program of study, there are a number of ways that a person may qualify for general registration as a chiropractor under section 53 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law).
Section 53(b) enables an individual who holds a qualification the National Board considers to be substantially equivalent, or based on similar competencies, to an approved program of study. Following is the current list of substantially equivalent programs as at 20 September 2019.
Section 53(c) enables an individual who holds a qualification relevant to chiropractic to qualify for general registration by completing an examination required by the Chiropractic Board of Australia. The relevant examination for the purposes of section 53(c) is an exam by the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA).
Accordingly, if an individual holds a qualification relevant to chiropractic and a statement of attainment from the CCEA, the individual will qualify for general registration pursuant to section 53(c).
